Pharmacy Undergraduate Program- Announcements and Conditions

• The Faculty of Pharmacy is located on the Sıhhiye Campus of Hacettepe University.
• Education lasts 5 years (10 semesters), and the language of instruction is Turkish.
• The undergraduate education of Hacettepe University Faculty of Pharmacy has been accredited by the National Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ECZAK) as of 2015.
• The education program consists of theoretical courses, applied laboratory courses, internships, and graduation project courses. Students begin their internships in the 2nd year and, in different semesters up until graduation, are able to complete their internships at a Community Pharmacy, a Hospital Pharmacy, or in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
• A minimum of 300 ECTS credits must be earned for graduation.
• Our students graduate with the title of "pharmacist," and their diplomas are registered by the Ministry of Health.
• Since the education program includes, in addition to theoretical courses, intensive applied laboratory courses in its content, candidates with physical disabilities — including hearing, vision, and speech impairments — to a degree that would prevent them from carrying out laboratory work independently cannot succeed in pharmacy education. In order to succeed in applied courses, it is particularly important to be able to effectively use the hands and fingers.
